[SOLVED] Extra Cred Minimum Area problem (oil can)

    I've attached my work

An oil can is to be made in the form of a right circular cylinder to hold one quart of oil. What dimensions of the can will require the least amount of material?

i know i havent finished the problem but what i have returns an incredibly small height for the cylinder. Where have i gone wrong?

    thank you in advance!

your last calculation for r is incorrect.

    r^3 = \frac{115.5}{4\pi}<br />
... this is ok, however

    r \ne 11.32
