    Sketch the graph and find intersecting points

    Sketch the graphs of r = 3 + 3cos(theta) and r = 3 + sqrt(3)sin(theta), and find the points where they intersect.

    any help with work would help greatly please.

    The first one is a cardiod and the second one a limacon. To find points of intersection, equate r and solve for

    Forgot to add (and shamelessly not use edit) that the graph you were given is the analogue of "squared paper" for cartesian coordinates
