Find the absolute maximum and absolute minimum values of f on the given interval.


how do i find this?

Absolute Extrema can occur

1. At end points

2. Critical points

Compute f(0), f(3) and the value of f(x) at all critical ponts on [0,3].

simply the largest is the abs max, the smallest is the abs min

note also that in order to get the right answer we have that min and max are attained on that inverval.
