# Math Help - Perpendicular vector problem.

1. ## Perpendicular vector problem.

I understand that the test for vectors which are perpendicular is the dot product of the two will come out zero but im not sure how to begin to answer this question as i only one vector

Find a unit vector perpendicular to the vector in the plane.

Any help would be most appreciated.

What plane? There is something missing here.

3. unfortunately thats the entire question, no preceding information no more equations just that one sentence. I hate vectors.

In that case there are infinity many correct answers.
Take any two points in the plane $2x-3y-3z=0$.
The vector determined by those two points works.
