    find the sum of the series (taylors fomula)

    find the sum of the given series. give answer in simplest form.

    this looks like its associated with the taylor's formula
    need help with this one please.

    The series,
    \sum_{n=0}^{\infty} \frac{(-1)^n x^{2n}}{(2n)!}
    Is the series for \cos x.
    Thus, we simply have x=\pi.
    Thus,
    \cos \pi = -1
