    Domain Range for a modulus function

    Please tell me what is the domain and range for the following modulus function and plz explain why?

    f(x)=1/|x|

    Well let me ask you something. If I asked you to find the domain of...hmm...IDK say f(x)=\frac{1}{x} or f(x)=\frac{-1}{x} could you do it?

    For the range, just think about it f(-x)=f(x) so you only need to consider the range on (0,\infty) (why?) But on (0,\infty) whati s |x| more commonly known as?
