# Math Help - Double Integral problem

1. ## Double Integral problem

Stuck on this last problem. It's telling me to sketch the indicated solid, then find its volume by an iterated integration.

Wedge bounded by the coordinate planes and the planes x = 5 and y+2z-4=0

Sorry this is brief. I assume you can sketch the solid. Now look at it only on the x-y plane to get the region over which you're integrating. Then set up the bounds accordingly... not a good explanation but if no one posts before I check again in the morning, I'll give a detailed explanation.

Looks like the integral you want is:

$
\int_{x=0}^5 \int_{y=0}^4 \int_{z=0}^{2-y/2 } dz\, dy\, dx
$

4. Hello, pakman!

Did you make the sketch?

Wedge bounded by the coordinate planes and the planes x = 5 and y + 2z - 4 = 0
Code:
                     *
*        *
*                 *
*                          *
*   *                         *
2 *       *                 *
*           *        *   5
*   *   *   *   *
