1. ## Derivatives Problems

I was wanting to know if someone would give me some derivative problems to work on. I am getting very good. I have work all of the ones in the textbook and from several internet sites. 5 or 10 problems should be sufficient. Limits where h approaches zero, and straight up fractions and equations. I am grateful for your help.

Thanks!

Do you know the chain rule, product rule, quotient rule, and so forth? And, I'm assuming this is for Calculus 1?

3. ie. Chain or Product Rule I know both; These problems all take up a page of paper...easily.

I'll give you 6; the problems vary in difficulty.

f(x) = [sin(x^2 + 2x)]^2

f(x) = (x - 1)/(x^2 + 3x)

f(x) = sqrt(x^3 - x)

f(x) = cos(sin(cos(x)))

f(x) = ln(x)/(1 + x^2)

f(x) = arctan(x^2 + 3)

5. ## Re:

Please give me a day to get them done. I will post the answers up when I get done. Thanks Aftershock

6. ## partial differetiation

i will give you 3 problem to work to it is difficulty:

(1)determine d^2 z/dxdy if z=3xy^2+5x^2 5^4-y^5
(2) if v=2loge^(4y-3x) calculate: d^2v/dxdy
(3) if u=e^-x(xcosy) determine the value of
I,du/dx
ii,d^2u/dydx

7. What textbook are you using?

8. Please give me some time to get these done I am very busy. I am using the blue textbook called Calculus by James Stewart

My college uses the same textbook. I just never brought it because it was not necessary.

10. ## Re:

ThePerfectHacker why are you taking Calculus if you already know more than the professor?

These problems were easy as pie:

Who said I was taking Calculus. Maybe, I am teaching it.

If that's the case, he should leave the institute he is at because that professor is awful then.

The professors are good, (but I am better).

It's nice to see that you're also modest.
