    If f(x) = 3arctan(2 e^x), find f'( x ).

    My work is attached. What am I doing wrong?

    Looks like you forgot to square the 2.


    (2e^x)^2=4e^{2x}

    By the way, as a friendly piece of advice, most people don't like to open attached files, so if you could find another method of communication (LaTeX), this would bring about quicker replies for you.
