# Math Help - Sketching the graph

1. ## Sketching the graph

Sketch the following function-label all (as possible-means take derivatives as reasonable, etc) such as: domain, roots, asymptotes (vertical, horizontal, slant or oblique), regions of increasing or decreasing, extrema, concavity and inflections as possible and as they exist, Show your work.

Domain:
Roots:
Asymptotes:
Increasing and Decreasing:
Maxima and Minima:
Concave up and down:

Hi, welcome to MHF.

Usually we ask posters to show their attempted work before getting help. This is a long problem and overs a lot of ideas. Which parts are you able to do? Where do you get stuck?

3. nothing really. I don't see how one of the roots can be four because when I graph it on the calculator the sketch never crosses the x-axis.
