Well this is my attempt.
=x^1/2
=1/2 x^-1/2
=1/(1/2sqrtx).
I am stuck there.

Hello Awsom GuyYou're almost right, but you got the $\displaystyle 2$ in the wrong place on the last line:
$\displaystyle f(x) =x^{\frac12}$
$\displaystyle \Rightarrow f'(x) =\tfrac12 (x^{-\tfrac12})$
$\displaystyle =\frac{1}{2\sqrt{x}}$
