    revenue function

    If p=450−45 q−q^2 is a demand equation, how fast is marginal revenue changing when 6 units of the product are demanded?

    It is known that r= revenue = (price)*(quantity). Therefore, for the given demand equation the revenue function is r= ??

    If p=450-45q-q^2 and r=pq, then

    r=(450-45q-q^2)\cdot q=450q-45q^2-q^3.
