Simple basic function end behavior model

I could use some help with this problem:

    For the function y=e^x - 2x^3 +15x find:
    (a) A simple basic function right end behavior model
    (b) A simple basic function left end behavior model

Not exactly sure how to do this.
    My answer:
    (a) = e^x
    (b) = -2x^3 + 15x

    Is this correct?
    Thanks.
