Find the one sided limits at x=0 of the function: f(x) = (x + x^2) / |x| , (x != 0) Can you at least get me started. I'm not sure what to do...Thanks.

recall the definition of |x| = x if x > 0 = -x if x < 0 (x + x^2) / |x| = (x+x^2)/x = (1+x) if x > 0 use this for the right hand limit (x + x^2) / |x| = (x+x^2)/-x = -(1+x) if x > 0 use this for the left hand limit
