1. ## Help Needed with Advanced Limits # 4

I was wondering if someone could help me with the problems within the picture:

I am in dire need of a step by step explanation as I answered this as (Not Enough Info) and was incorrect

I figured that this should equal 3 if in the first limit u approached 4 instead of -4, but it doesn't; does this mean that the answer should be -3?

2. I've been doing quite a lot of thinking and can't see how this could be -3. All I see is an inverse so for it to be -3 the graph should have odd symmetry around the origin, right??
