I was wondering if someone could help me with the problems within the picture: I am in dire need of a step by step explanation as I answered this as 0 and was incorrect

Now that I look at this wouldn't this just be (Not enough info). I mean there aren't any numbers included within the problem so how can I possibly get a number as an answer. Right??
