    [SOLVED] inverse of an ln function

    find a formula for the inverse of y = ln(x + 8)

    i tried 8/lnx but it was wrong and im stuckk

    The expression y=ln(x+8) means that e^y=x+8.

    x=e^y-8. The inverse function is therefore y=e^x-8
