    Shady Question on Limits

    lim as x-->0 from the right x^n
    lim as x-->0 from the left x^n
    lim as x-->infinity x^n
    lim as x-->- infinity x^n

    sorry for the awful syntax....can anyone help me out on this? it's so vague.

    It is kinda vague, but i think they want you to consider the distinction between n being odd, even, or rational...

    Yeah we drew the graphs to all those examples, the 5 cases of n<0 even or odd, n>0 even or odd...any other suggestions??
