1. ## Help with Advanced theoretical Limits #3

I was wondering if someone could help me with the problems within the picture:

I am not looking for straight up answers (unless of course someone is willing to do so), but just for some help finding resources on how to go about solving these problems. Thx in advance for all any and all help!

2. looks homework, and here we're to help.

perhaps seein' lots of problems may frighten off people.

try to post them, one by one, or may be two by two, and show some of ideas.

9. Let $u = h(x)$, then you have

$\lim_{h(x) \to 5}g\left(h(x)\right) = -8$

Also note that $h(x) \to 5$ when $x \to p$.

So $\lim_{x \to p}g\left(h(x)\right) = -8$.

Since $\lim_{x \to p}f(x) = \lim_{x \to p}g\left(h(x)\right)$

we have $\lim_{x \to p}f(x) = -8$.
