kindly explain me solution of integration
1. what is the integral of exp(-2at)

2. What is integral of (Cost+5Cos2t)^2 over the range -t/2 to t/2 and t=2Pi. Kindly explain me in detail

1. We are integrating with respect to which variable?

2. Your range doesn't make sense...

1. $\int{e^{-2at}\,dt} = -\frac{1}{2a}e^{-2at} + C$

2. I know what you mean by range, I just don't understand the limits you've given me.

Is it $\int_{-\frac{t}{2}}^{\frac{t}{2}}{(\cos{t} + 5\cos{2t})^2\,dt}$?
