    y = \sqrt{3 - e^{2x}}

    x = \sqrt{3 - e^{2y}}

    x^2 = 3 - e^{2y}

    e^{2y} = 3 - x^2

    2y = \ln(3 - x^2)

    y = \frac{1}{2}\ln(3-x^2)

    y = \ln{\sqrt{3-x^2}}
