    composition of 3 functions

    Express the function in the form f g h. (Use only elementary functions, but not the identity function, g(x) = x.)


    f(x) =
    g(x) =
    h(x) =


    im sooo lost

    $\displaystyle f(x)=\sqrt[7]{x}$
    $\displaystyle g(x)=2+x$
    $\displaystyle h(x)=|x|$

    $\displaystyle f\circ g\circ h$ means $\displaystyle f(g(h(x)))$.

    So $\displaystyle f(g(h(x)))= f(g(|x|))=f(2+|x|)=\sqrt[7]{2+|x|}$.
