2 Limits Questions
Can someone please explain #5 and #8 to me?
For #5, I get that plugging in -0.66 into the online calculator will give me the y value but I do not understand the rest.
For #8, I get that you can plug in x = -1 because it is a plug-in limit but I do not know which Limit Law(s) to say I used.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Do you not understand what this says? On the webpage you are working on, by typing a value of x into the blank and pressing the "f->" button you see the value f(x). Since the copy you made does not have that button, no one here can see what values you are working with. To find the limit as x goes to .6666 (2/3), you will have to put in values of f very close to .6666 and see what value you get.
I get that f(-0.66) = 2.6823200000000553 (I plugged in x = -0.66 and obtained y = 2.6823200000000553) but I do not know how to find (like I have no idea what to plug in) the following:
Please type the function you are taking the limit of.
