# Math Help - Limit Proof

1. ## Limit Proof

Is there a proof out there that states that this is true?

Well the hint is the proof. What more do you need?

3. Sorry, I should have worded my question more specifically.

I know that there is a proof (as seen by the hint), but I'm having difficulty solving it on my own. I'm trying to review for a test, so I'm wondering if this is a popular enough proof that I can just study it on the internet.

By the way, thanks for replying to my last two threads. I'm in dire need of help.

Did you try substituting h = x - a? Please show your work and say where you get stuck.
