    Curves/Vectors

    Consider the space curve defined by r(t) = cos^3 ti + sin^3 tk.

    a) Find the curvature of r(t) at t = pi/4.
    b) Find the unit tangent and unit normal vectors at t = pi/4.
    c) Find the tangential and normal components of the acceleration at t = pi/4.

    Do you know the correct formulae? Can you calculate the required derivatives? What have you tried and where do you get stuck?
