Simple Calculus Problem

Pretty simple problem but I am not sure if the notation in my answer is correct -- So I am just going to post my answer and tell you what I am trying to say with it
--
$f(x)=cosx/(1+cosx), x=(x)-[(x)in(Re) | 2(pi)n + (pi), (n)in(SetZ)$

Trying to say that x belongs to all real numbers excluding $pi$ rad and all of its similar angles.'

Was unable to figure out how to say some things in you equation maker so clarified below

in:Belongs to
pi:3.14159.....

Slightly confused about the x,x

^^ -- Don't really know the notation that well

But after looking at yours

$x \in \mathbb{R}- \left \{ x,x=2 \pi k - \pi, k \in \mathbb{Z} \right \}$

Because the equation does exist at $2\pi$ and $4\pi$ etc.

Depending on what x,x means I think the above may be correct

x=all real numbers minus angles $\pi , 3 \pi , 5 \pi , etc$

i meant x "\" x it means x such as x = k*...

it's because of the latex thing..
