1. Sketch and describe in words the region in R3 represented by the equation
x^2 + y^2 + z > 2x.
I tried plottings points, but eventually got confused.. >.<
2. Find the volume of the solid that lies inside both of the spheres
x^2 + y^2 + z^2 = 4
x^2 + y^2 + z^2 + 4x − 2y + 4z + 5 = 0.
after completing the square for the 2nd equation, we get
(x+2)^2+(y-1)^2+(z+2)^2=0, which has center at (-2,1,-2)
now im stuck.. i dont know how to find the intersecting point, let alone the volume afterwards.
