I have this function: I(a)= the integral from 0 to 1 of [x^(a)-x^(b)]/[ln(x)] where a > b > -1. Using the fact that I(b) = 0, how would I show that I(a)= ln[(a+1)/(b+1)]? Thank you for any help.
