1. ## Simple trig verification

Sorry for the double post, I put it in the wrong section. I know this problem is very easy, I am just having so much trouble grasping the concept. I have to verify this problem and don't know where to start.
Any help GREATLY appreciated. Homework due at 3PM today.

I don't feel comfortable...

However, if you were to show me what you have tried so far, I'd be able to guide you a bit.

3. I used trig identities to change everything I could.
$\displaystyle ((1/cos(t))/cos(t))-((1+tan^2 t)/(1+cot^2 t))$

4. How do I do fractions with the 'math' tags? That would probably make this a bit easier to read.

Change eveything to sin and cosine, that should help.

IE $\displaystyle \tan^2{x}=\frac{\sin^2{x}}{\cos^2{x}}$...
