Thread: TI-89 Implicit Graphing

So I'm wondering if anyone can help with some graphing troubles with my TI-89. I read the manual section on implicit graphing, and tried everything in there, but I can't get the graphs to turn out right. I'm having trouble seeing the graph in the right plane and viewing window, even though I've messed with them a bunch. If anyone has any tips, on that or in general, it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean, like, having the calculator automatically choose the best viewing window?

That would indeed be nice, but not necessarily. I feel like I'm choosing an appropriate window, but the graphs just don't seem to look right.
