Does anyone know if I can set my calculator to some kind of default that will give all answers in fraction form if possible?

I have a TI-83+.

You can't set it so that it returns the answer in fraction form by default.

If you have some decimal answer, go to the [tex] menu, and select the first option . Then it will try to convert your answer to fraction (but you have to do it manually each time).

Hope that helps... - July 24th 2009, 12:26 PMVonNemo19
Thanks Chris. Would you happen to know if the TI-83+ can do the trapzoidal or Simpson's rule for approximating integrals?
