Ti-83
Does anyone know if I can set my calculator to some kind of default that will give all answers in fraction form if possible?

I have a TI-83+.

You can't set it so that it returns the answer in fraction form by default.

If you have some decimal answer, go to the [tex] menu, and select the first option $1.\,\blacktriangleright\texttt{Frac}$. Then it will try to convert your answer to fraction (but you have to do it manually each time).

Hope that helps...

Thanks Chris. Would you happen to know if the TI-83+ can do the trapzoidal or Simpson's rule for approximating integrals?
