how to set a range for a graph in the TI 89?
Hi, when I write the equation of a graph in the y= editor mode, how can i set a range for it?

e.g. I want y=x from 0<x<2

then y=2x after that.. etc

I couldn't find this on the manual

Thanks :)

Search the manual for piecewise defined function.

Here is an example how to put in a piecewise defined function:

$f(x)=\left\{\begin{array}{rcl}x^2&,&x<0\\-2x+4&,&x>0\end{array}\right.$

I picked the command when( from the CATALOG.
