    TI-83 help

    Could anyone please tell me how to input the following function into my TI-83. I'm kind of tech-illiterate.

    f(x)=\frac{7(\mid{x+2}\mid{-2})}{3x+12}

    Thanks guys.

    Oh, and if there is anyway that you could possibly sketch the graph yourself so I can see it that would be awesome. That way I could look at it and know I didn't mess up.

    All I'm looking for here is someone to list the commands in sequential order of how to type in this function. Anybody up to it?

    So you're just aiming to input this into your y=?

    7(abs(x+2)-2)/(3x+12)

    abs should be under Math -> Num

    If you want to see the graph, just use the calc. =p Or google "online graphing calculator."
