Hyperbola Help
I need help with making hyperbolas stop or end on a graphing calculator. I am trying to draw a mushroom with a parabola for the top, hyperbola for the stem, and eclipse for the base. I need them in equation format. The hyperbola needs to stop at the middle of the eclipse and am very confused on how to write an equation.

1. Hyperbola: $\displaystyle x^2-y^2=1~\implies~y=\sqrt{1-x^2}$
It is drawn from $\displaystyle (-5, \sqrt{24})$ to (-1, 0) and from (1, 0) to $\displaystyle (5, \sqrt{24})$
2. Parabola: $\displaystyle y = -\dfrac1{25} x^2+1+\sqrt{24}$
which is drawn form $\displaystyle (-5, \sqrt{24})$ to $\displaystyle (5, \sqrt{24})$
