Hello all.

I'm trying to work out 2,060 as a percentage of 60,000,000 however, I can't write 60 million on my calculator. Is there someway that I can do this? All advice would be much appreciated.

2,060/60,000,000 = 206/6,000,000 = 103/3,000,000

can't simplify further because 103 is a prime number..
write that into your calculator.

Or you can continue with decimals.

if you can't write 3million then do this:

103/3,000,000 = 10.3/300,000 = 1.03/30,000 = 0.103/3000
whatever you like ;)

Your calculator should have something like an EE key to enter multiple of powers of 10, so 6 EE 7 should enter 60,000,000.

Alternativly shift everything three places to the right:

$\frac{2060}{60000000}=\frac{2.060}{60000}$
