TI-84 Plus help!

I am dealing with sequences and finding a pattern to the sequence then finding a formula where you could find the nth term in a sequence so that you would not have to write out the entire sequence in order to find the nth term. I have done all of this. Now I have to enter my data (# of the term in the sequence (1st, 2nd, ..., nth), # that the sequence is at this term) into lists (L1, L2, L3, L4) on my my TI-84 Plus calculator. How do I do this???

Write the complete list in embraced(?) brackets. Separate the values by commas and store this list in (for instance) L1.

You'll get the 3rd value in this list by L1(3).
