    [SOLVED] Nint

What is NINT and how do I use it to approximate a value? I know it's something you can do on a calculator, and I have a TI-83 Plus, but I don't know how to do it on there.

to use an approx number is just 2nd calculator ,and choose value, try to use a value that nearest to it, or u can just use trace to move the value on the graph line

Ok except that's not using NINT and it's not a graph that I'm using to approximate the value. Thanks anyway though

NINT stands for Numerical Integration ... on TI calculators, it's listed under the math menu (#9) as fnInt.

    syntax is ...

fnint( function , variable, lower limit of integration, upper limit of integration)
