Thread: TI 89 Titanium not recognized by PC

After I have installed OS 3.0 on my TI 89 titanium Ti Connect and the computer no longer recognized the calculator. I have tried on a different PC with Windows XP(BTW I use Vista), I reinstalled TI Connect software , deleted drivers from system32 directory manually, deleted USB devices on my PC it made the PC recognize and load some drivers but that was all. I need to find the solution ASAP.

It happened to me once with ti-89 titanium. I solved that by resetting all memory.(2nd > MEM > F1 > 3) The problem with this is that you will lose all your programs and text files.

Btw, get CCleaner to repair all your registry problems and delete all the junk files in your pc.

Thanks for reply I have solved the issue by removing the OS then reconnecting the calculator the PC. I think it is the only way to resolve the problem. Hope TI makes less problematic drivers in the future.

I think that I have the same problem, as you had, can you help me. ? how did you remove the OS ?
