Thread: Integration problems on TI-89

hey guys, whenever i integrate an indefinite integral on my ti-89, it always adds another unnecessary +x to the end of the answer and i'm worried that this could give me incorrect answers in the future. does anyone have any advice on how to rectify this problem?

Either your calculator is malfunctioning or it's giving you the correct answer and you just don't understand it.

Post an example of an integral and the answer you calculator gives and I'll tell you which of the above two things is happening.
