i now how to graph myself, however i want to be able to write a program where my calculator will prompt me to put in values to variables such as m and b in the y=mx+b equation and have it graph for me, i already know all the basics, i just need to know what command i should put in to tell it to plug in the equation and graph it...
Earboth: The command to go to the graph (once you've stored it to Y1) is, very simply, "Trace". It's in the catalog.
You can also use ZStandard and the other zoom settings (also in the catalog), or simply store to ZXMax and ZXmin, etc (in vars/2:zoom)
At least, that's how it is on my TI83.
