    Calculator Entry Problem

I need to put this into a calculator and the result should be .05

I need to know exactly how to enter it. It sounds silly, but I can't get it to work

    e(2.399 x 3 ) + (.005 x 1700) 18.627

    what does "e" mean here? does e(2.399 x 3) mean 2.399 \times 10^3 ?

    enter: (e(2.339 x 3) + (0.005 x 1700) - 18.627) / (1 + e(2.99 x 3) + (0.005 x 1700) - 18.627)
