Hi I just got my new Ti-89 Titanium calculator and there is one thing that is bugging me.
on my last calculator I had to press [2nd] and then a botton that looked like x[square of].
On my Ti, no button like this exists and I've got a test tomorrow and I'd really like to know how the heck this is done?
A fast answer would be really helpful cuz im stuck atm :(

I don't have titanium, but you can enter x^(1/n), which is the nth root of x

For the TI89, you can upgrade your OS to the latest version (3.10) released in 2005.
Once you upgrade. You can use the shortcut <> (Diamond) + 9 or type root(
eg, to do the the 5th root of 25... type root(25, 5)
