1. ## Where is the Math tool on the T-89 Titanium

Hello everyone, This my first time on the Fourm :-), anyways i was trying to use the Convert Binary to DEC,HEX,.... and i heared it was under the Math function on the T-89, which i can't find. Can someone help please ? Thanks alot in advance !

2. To convert from binary to hex or dec, just type it in.

Example, to convert 10010011100 to decimal:

$0b10010011100 \;\ \boxed{2nd} \;\ \boxed{Y} \;\ \text{dec}$

Then hit ENTER. You should get 1180

Do the same with hex.

3. That's not working out for me. Do u know where is the Math function on the TI-89 ?

4. That should work. No, I don't know where that tool is. That's the only way I ever done it. The conversion command is "2nd Y".

5. i'm not sure what u mean by 2nd Y, but i figured it out, you type the number then Press . Use and and click on E option which is Base. Thanks alot for all your help bro.

Hi,

I don't want to pick at you but the conversion tool is under $\boxed{\text{2ND}}\ \boxed{\text{MODE}}$

7. I use a TI-92 and the 'conversion arrow' is under $\boxed{2nd}, \;\ \boxed{Y}$ on it. It can also be found under MATH as the poster pointed out. I always just typed it in. But, then again, the 89 doesn't have the keyboard the 92 and Voyage 200 has.
