Is there a way I can multiply polynomials and get answers in variables instead of numeric values?
(So if I enter $\displaystyle (x^2+1)(x+x^3)$ I get $\displaystyle 2x^3+x^5+x$)
It is not using a calculator, but I wrote a little Python class to multiply polynomials or raise a polynomial to any positive integer power. Its very cool!
