    Multiplying Polynomials

Is there a way I can multiply polynomials and get answers in variables instead of numeric values?
    (So if I enter (x^2+1)(x+x^3) I get 2x^3+x^5+x)

    Re: Multiplying Polynomials

I have a fx9750gii and I have added new firmware to it and it can expand polynomials for me (if that's what you're after)

    What calculator do you have?

    Re: Multiplying Polynomials

It is not using a calculator, but I wrote a little Python class to multiply polynomials or raise a polynomial to any positive integer power. Its very cool!
