Thread: Problem With Graphing Cubic Functions on TI-89 Titanium

When I graph a cubic function, all the positive x-values are being shown. However, all of the points that have a negative x-value are not being shown on the graph. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Yep, i tried it. I put in my equation as x^1/3, maybe that is the problem?

For starters, x^(1/3) is NOT a cubic, it's a cube ROOT. Is this what you are trying to graph, or should it be a cubic like x^3?
