is there a way to plug this into the ti-89?

Find G'(x) if g(x) = x^2 / 2x^3+x+1

Find F'(x) if f(x) = Sqr root ( 5x^2+1)

theres a small line in front of the g/f on my practice problems.

Do you want your calculator calculate derivatives for you? Or? ...

I don't think the ti-89 can do that but I think it's able to calculate a derivative in a specific point, for example when you need the gradient of the tangent line in the point x=a to the curve. - Jul 19th 2011, 07:34 PMCaptainBlackRe: help with ti-89 calc
