How do you save settings in the 'WINDOW' mode on a TI-83 Calculator?
Okay, so i'm doing an assignment that requires a graphing calculator, and i have to change some of the settings in the 'Window' mode, but the problem is i don't know how to save the new settings.

Hi there,

I have a TI-83 and when I change the setting in the 'window' display these are then the default onwards until I change them again.

So I don't need to save the settings. Is this the same for you?

Yes, in fact i was able to contact my Professor and she solved this problem for me. When i change the values in the "Window" mode, and then shut off the calculator it will save until I go back to that option again.

I have to graph a bunch of sine graphs on my calculator, i was just wondering would you graph "sin (x + 2)", and "sin x+2" the same way? I can't seem to get rid of the parenthesis on sine, so i'm assuming that those two graphs would be the same.

$\displaystyle Y_1= \sin (x+2)$

$\displaystyle Y_2= \sin (x)+2$
