    Actually a TI-84 question - how to display graphs of type 2x + 3/x

if I have a eqn: y = 2x - 8/x, then if x = 0, then TI-84 has a problem with that (not surprisingly) and does not display the graph at all.

Is there a way I can display such a graph?

Your calculator should graph it. At that point, there will be an asymptote.

What is your window set at?
