Thread: TI-89 Differentiation and Integration (errors)

I occasionally get unorthodox answers for differentiation and integration on the TI-89.

For instance, if I differentiate tan(x) in terms of x I get: pi/180(cos(x))^2

Anyone know how to fix this? For the exact/approximate option I've got "auto" selected.

Your calculator needs to be in radian mode.
