I am trying to get my calculator to answer 3.00X10E8 / 5.22x10E-7

It keeps giving me a syntax error

I know I'm doing something silly wrong, it was working last night LOL

Please help

Hi kuliraga,

You might have used the subtract sign instead of the negative sign located at the bottom right of your TI-83.

Enter it this way:

(3.00 * 10^8) / (5.22 * 10^-7)

Be sure to use the 'negative' key for -7, not the subtract key.
